Presidents
Message September 3, 2008
This week our activity is focused mainly on the
preparations for the forthcoming District Membership Development
Seminar. This included calls directly to the Presidents of the
different Rotary Clubs in Panay and visits made by our fellow
Northerners to the Rotary Clubs of Negros Occidental. Likewise,
for the second time a talk to the Council of Presidents was done
which yielded a positive response. They came up with a united
support on this event. We are doing all these preparations, as
well as our best as host club, to ensure the success of this
District Affair.
On another development, last Saturday, August 30, 2008, a
limited distribution of books was made to two schools in Manapla
facilitated by PP Fitz Lauron.
This afternoon we shall hear two of our colleagues, Dir. Carmelo
Mabayag and Dir. Romy Lopez, give a short talk about their
committees. They will present plans and tell us the activities
that we shall expect during the year.
