The Rotary Club of Bacoldo North recently hosted the District Finals of the biennial Voice of Our Youth (Impromptu Speaking) contest. Twenty one (21) participants from all over RI District 3850 competed in this event. From Boracay to Basilan.

Adjudged winners were Jared Karl Ulric D. Rubin of USLS (fist place), Vicente Benjamin G. Gustilo of St. John’s Institute (second place), and Vincen Gregory Y. Yu of Iloilo Central Commercial HS (third place). The top two placers will represent RI District 3850 in the National Finals this February 2009. They will compete against the representatives of the nine other Districts in the Philippines.
