"My
daughter, Lourdes, always comes home crying.
When I asked her why.
She confessed to me that her fellow students teases her about her being
cross-eyed. Her grades eventually suffered, and she doesn't even want to
go to school anymore. But days after the successful operation held last
Dec., I began to notice changes in her. She became jovial and full of
life. Her grades gradually improved and she now enjoys the company of her
schoolmates. I know words cannot express my sincerest gratitude for making
her dreams
come true. I hope you will continue this project in the future, so you can
give hope to our less fortunate
children."

"I
used to dread looking myself in front of a
mirror, but after seeing myself for the first time since I had my
operation last Dec., I became overwhelmed with joy. I can't wait for
school to open and let my classmates see the "new me".
Truly, this is the BEST Christmas gift ever!"
