Operation Squint

Ma. Lourdes Ellostricimo - Thank you Rotary Club Bacolod North"My daughter, Lourdes, always comes home crying.

When I asked her why. She confessed to me that her fellow students teases her about her being cross-eyed. Her grades eventually suffered, and she doesn't even want to go to school anymore. But days after the successful operation held last Dec., I began to notice changes in her. She became jovial and full of life. Her grades gradually improved and she now enjoys the company of her schoolmates. I know words cannot express my sincerest gratitude for making her dreams
come true. I hope you will continue this project in the future, so you can give hope to our less fortunate
children."
Mother of Ma. Lourdes Ellostricimo

(NOHS 2nd year HS pupil, 14 years old), Jan. 23, 2008

Christmae Joyce Pabiana, 4th year Hervias HS pupil, 15 years old, Jan. 2, 2008"I used to dread looking myself in front of a
mirror, but after seeing myself for the first time since I had my operation last Dec., I became overwhelmed with joy. I can't wait for school to open and let my classmates see the "new me".
Truly, this is the BEST Christmas gift ever!"

Christmae Joyce Pabiana, 4th year Hervias HS pupil, 15 years old, Jan. 2, 2008
