District Membership Development Seminar

By: PP Roy Hojilla

Membership Development Seminar Committee Chairman of the Rotary Club of Bacolod North (Host Club)

To fulfill its humanitarian and peace building mission, Rotary must continue to grow, constantly recruiting and developing new members who embrace the high standards of service and ethics that historically have characterized Rotary. Thorough orientation is a necessary step in transforming new members into active and committed Rotarians.

The primary responsibility of educating new members lies at the club level. It is for this reason that we want you to know about the Membership Development Seminar which is being held for Zones 1-7, District 3850, on September 13, 2008 at the Bacolod Executive Inn. We encourage all new members to attend, for them to find out that in Rotary:

There is fellowship - your effort
There is service - that will bring greater understanding
There is integrity - because of our high ethical standards
There is leadership - because you were chosen as leader in your field

For the Officers, especially the Director Chairman for Membership Development, you should learn from the seminar how you will make the Rotary Club of Bacolod North interesting and its activities worth attending, like fellowship, family involvement and the actual demonstration of each member’s field of expertise.

- Registration will be P400.00 per Rotarian to include lunch, free flowing coffee and a seminar kit.

- Registration starts at 8:00 a.m.
