This
opportunity is in RY 2006-2007 given to Bacolodnon Philip Gomez
We received some comments on his stay in Canterbury/Australia:

Hello
Willie,
I thought that I should drop you a short note about your Rx
student,
Phillip Golez.
Phillip has just left Australia and I understand that he may be
talking
at your Club meeting today.
Phillip has been an outstanding RX student. You should be very
proud of him. He represented your Club with distinction. He was a
credit to your Club, his country, his parents and himself. These
are not just my words but they would be universal throughout our
Rotary District. Even the District Governor knew him and spoke
highly of him. He made the most of his time in Australia. He used
his initiative to seek out opportunities to explore most avenues
of life in Australia and to form constructive views about them. He
was always appreciative of the opportunities given to him. I will
not talk of the many highlights of his trip as this may "steal"
his talk to your Club.
Thank you for sending such a great "ambassador" to Australia
Best regards
Doug Hawley
