Project Cross Eye

This first screening was done by the Cataract Foundation of the
Philippines Inc., with Rotarians present: PP Jack Po, Treasurer Alex
Lee and VP Kendall Ang (the photographer). |

This project aims to identify public school grade
school students who cannot afford an operation to correct this eye
problem.
Once identified, the possible beneficiary will be
diagnosed to see if the problem can still be corrected.

Clariza, 1st yr High School Student.
The first screening for eligibility to undergo an corrective operation
was done at September 12, 2007 at the Riverside Medical Center.
The first batch consisted of students from public schools who are part
of the Rotary Club of Bacolod North-Vitamin A-program. (Before the
operation) |

Out of 6 students, only 1 was eligible for an operation to be
scheduled in the near future.
The costs of the operation will be shouldered by the Rotary Club
Bacolod North-Project Fund. |
